Singapore Newest Food Center Tour – One Punggol Hawker Centre
The One Punggol Integrated Hub has finally opened its doors to the public, and one of the most highly anticipated amenities that residents had been looking forward to is the One Punggol Hawker Centre.
As a one-stop community hub, the One Punggol Integrated Hub is designed to serve over 200,000 residents and boasts an impressive area of 45,100sqm. The hub offers a wide range of facilities and amenities that cater to the needs of the community.
Among the features of the hub is a hawker centre that houses 34 stalls, providing seating for up to 700 people. It offers a variety of local cuisines, making it a popular spot for residents to gather and enjoy a meal.
Aside from the hawker centre, the hub also features a regional five-storey library and a childcare centre with 500 places. Other amenities include a Community Club, HDB Branch, blood collection centre, kidney dialysis centre, and senior care centre. The hub is truly a one-stop destination for all the essential services that the community may need.
The fifth floor of the hub features a multi-purpose hall with four badminton courts and 600 retractable seats for performances and ceremonies, according to The Straits Times. Additionally, the hub is equipped with futsal and basketball courts for sports enthusiasts. The rooftop facilities, including BBQ pits at the Sun Deck and Sky Deck, provide residents with an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and host events.
Residents can also engage in outdoor activities, with ample space available for jogging, cycling, and other recreational activities. The One Punggol Hawker Centre is open from 7 am to 10 pm, although not all the stalls may be open all the time.
